Algorithmic Trading Facility

Algorithmic trading (Algo) means "A system used by a trading member to generate orders using automated execution logic", buy / sell orders are automatically generated and entered by the software / program facility into the Exchange trading system to be matched by the Exchange’s system.

Procedure to apply for "Approved Strategy" of empanelled ISV

  • Members are required to submit documents as per Part: G Checklist for Algorithmic Trading (Algo) Facility from Empanelled ISV (Ref: page number 33 of Master Circular Computer to Computer Link (CTCL) dated December 31, 2012) and shall follow the procedure mentioned in Paragraph 3 of Circular No: MCX-SX/CTCL/1477/2013 dated September 30, 2013.
  • Demo of software is provided to Exchange.
  • Exchange provides approval to the member.

Procedure to apply for In-House Algo

  • Members are required to submit documents as per Part: E Checklist of In-House software development (Ref: page number 32 of Master Circular Computer to Computer Link (CTCL) dated December 31, 2012) and shall follow the procedure mentioned in Paragraph 3 of Circular No: MCX-SX/CTCL/1477/2013 dated September 30, 2013.
  • Demo of software is provided to Exchange.
  • Exchange provides approval to the member.
